In response to Looks Like Two Threads posted by pink101:

A former pastor of mine told the story of a gentleman he met in a mental institution. My pastor was visiting a church member's relative in the institution, and in the process, struck up a conversation with this other person. The man began to tell the pastor how rich and wealthy he was. My pastor politely listened, and then later related the conversation to one of the nurses. The nurse said: "Oh yeah, Frank's in here, because he believes he's rich, when in fact, he's not. He was bouncing checks all over town!"

What's the point of that story?

Simple...To the man in the institution, he truly BELIEVED that he was rich. That was his "truth." But it was not an objective truth. It did not conform to reality. I'm interested in discovering and learning as many OBJECTIVE truths as I can.
