» pink101 - Feminism, Christianity & Liberalism

.
It has been said that liberalism is a minority force--the existence of which forces conservatism to change.
.
Can it be shown that Feminism has been a strong force of liberalism that has been firing the rise of conservatism as a reactionary force against progress in American politics?
.
What is the position Christianity takes on Feminism?

It's BAD and EVIL, and contradicts Christianity.

From the link provided by Migisi: What do you think?
.
I think we have hit on a pivotal issue regarding liberalism and conservatism. In particular, an issue that impinges on Christianity and most other religions that I know about.

.
Dorothy E. Smith ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorothy_E._... ) is a highly respected spokesperson in the rank and file of Feminism.
.
In her paper, Women's Experience As A Radical Critique of Sociology, she complains that we are socialized to discount our personal experience of reality.
.
It's hard to go against her thinking that we live in a world where we are governed by the way everything is put to us and in which we are taught to accept it as reality. Further, her complaint includes the idea of how that faming has been put in place by way of patriarchal culture.
