I am expecting Edwards and Gore to give their endorsements to Obama and the sooner the better for party unity.

If it was me, I wouldn't be openly endorsing either -- so neither would harbor hurt feelings. I'd want be on good terms with both, regardless of which one is elected president. And, my constituents might not approve of my choice and I'd lose their support.
