I'd say they were more secularists than Deists.

OOPS. Thanks, Pink.
Here's the right one...

There's no reference to original source material.
.
But, it is a nicely done presentation.
.
And, it carefully stays away from doctrine.
.
George W. Bush is seen as a professing Christian as well; but, what are his specific beliefs?

Pink, you want original source material, and Lillback's book is FULL of such material -- 200 pages of citations. The book has earned kudos - even from people who believe the Founders were Deists - for its impressive scholarship.
You can't expect a short YouTube video to be a term paper. If you want to see the source material, you'll have to read Lillback's book.
A shorter look at Washington's faith is Washington's God by Michael and Jana Novak. I also recommend that, but it's nowhere near as substantive as Lillback's George Washington's Sacred Fire.
Here's an interview w/ Lillback. It's a Christian talk show, and the hosts will probably put you off (esp with the beginning reference to George W. Bush). But, give it a chance - and pay careful attention to Lillback's answers. Hard to refute.

If you're promoting a controversial point, you should be able to cite original sources.
.
Paintings of George Washington kneeling in prayer next to his horse sure makes a point.
.
I think George Washing was probably a Christian just like George W. Bush is a Christian but, that isn't saying much now, is it? You don't get to be president of the United States running on a deist platform.
.
I believe that I am a Christian in the fullest sense of the word; but, you don't believe that I am.
.
And, I think Migisi is as well; but, she doesn't believe it.
.
So, who is to say based on the information we have available?

Me...I'm from the other side of the world. What intrigues me is what was the singular most important decision Washington made as President that cements his Christian status? Out of all his decisions, what was his Christian best?
What also intrigues me is where researchers go for rebuttal: Washington was NOT a Christian:

About halfway down the article: His appearance on the one-dollar bill is by no means the only non-Christian symbol found here.
What is symbolic of a Christian?
