» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - What a shame!

The story is still developing, but Heath Ledger is gone. What a shame. A young life cut short....yet again.

I'm looking foward to seeing him as the Joker. When I first heard he had been cast I was like "What? Why him?", then I saw the trailer and thought "Wow, he's nailed it better than Jack".

Just goes to show you it's doesn't matter who you are, you can go just like that.

» EvilChihuahua - Prediction

In response to Prediction posted by BrianTubbs:

I believe he'll be given many honours now. I expect a biopic on his life will be made within the next 10 years. Ironically, he was set to play Michael Hutchens (lead singer of INXS) in a movie (he too was an Aussie who died before his time).

This poor guy was in harms way ie in the USA. He developed IADS ie Innocently Acquired Death Syndrome pending a clearer diagnosis. His parents get the news from the media and if that has ever happened to you or anyone you know...I can assure you, it adds to the shock and pain.

Medical experts assure us we can avoid many ways of going just like that but hey, given the topics these pages, what would they know.

I was getting off the train and a guy about Heath's age was shouting the news to everyone. And saying: "It's TOO scary!". I'm an oldie who's well aware the young are not invincible.
