"Try it" I thought dialling 112 would give you the relevant emergency number to ring...not actually ring it...OOPS!!!
Will test the remote car key tomorrow.
*3370# did not work
#06# did not work.
We don't have 411 calls.
I'll try them all again tomorrow but upside down.

Our Freecalls here don't apply to mobile phones aka cell phones and we're warned about it so I was wary of the secret code. But the reality is there are "secret" codes eg to set up a free internet service at home if you code in what a network uses eg the education system's access to the internet in its schools. And casual or contract IT workers can access those codes. So, I'm not denying their existence. ![]()
It's good about Pink's reminder re emergency phone numbers. I felt guilty coz a very large number of calls are bogus and I'm one of 'em. But, with the plethora of US TV shows here where 911 ia the advertised number, we need a reminder the ambulance and police etc will NOT respond. Ours is 000.

I believe you do not need internet for the free call.. Its done through the tele!.. (wink)... and probably only good in the USA - Canada - Mexico (NAU - North American Union)
