» Migisi - Huckabee

In response to Huckabee posted by pink101:

.
Who is going to work in his kitchen? That's a good test of anyone running for president.
.
Follow the money. Who did he (or any candidate) receive the most financial backing from? Those they 'owe' will eat at their table. As I see it...

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Money

In response to Huckabee posted by Migisi:

One of the problems we're facing is that political campaigns are SOOOOOO expensive (esp at a national level) that people and organizations w/ money wield a disproportionate amount of influence over our society.

Unfortunately, it's been that way forever. I've always been a fan of campaign reform. But that'll never happen.

» Migisi - Huck's clemency for rapist

.
Dumond raped a cheer leader and was convicted and sentenced. He was given clemency by Gov. Huckabee, despite warnings that Dumond would rape (or worse) again. Indeed, after Huckabee released Dumond, he did rape again... and murder a Missouri woman. He was also the leading suspect in another MO rape/murder. Here's a Sept. 2005 article detailing Huckabee's interference with the Parole Board, Dumond's early release, and Huck's attempts to dodge responsibility.

Dumond case revisited -
A reminder of Huckabee's role in his freedom

» pink101 - Ron Paul's Kitchen Cabinet

In response to UK Press On Ron Paul's Exploding Support posted by _Boanerges_:
.
Looks like your boy has a strong chance of winning the nomination.
.
He certainly will present us with a major change.
.
But, the president cannot do away with our present tax system. It will take a combination of congress and the president.
.
Much will have to be done to prepare our economy for the change.
.
Has he named any individuals he would put in his kitchen cabinet?
