I'm sure you will be impressed by the video series on the Corporation. Check it out, Wendell. It has 23 parts that are able to be seen there on YouTube, or you can buy the complete video on DVD.

- Don't think I'm bashing
I don't think I'm bashing you, Wendell. I just don't agree with you on Huckabee and the conspiracy stuff (most of it, anyway).
As for biblical prophecy....yes, I believe our world is heading toward one-world government, which is very much in line with what the Bible portends. But, so many times, Christians have made specific predictions and/or associations regarding prophecy, "end times," etc. - and have come out looking foolish. (Not saying you are foolish).
An example is a guest evangelist that came through a church I attended in my teen years. He did all kinds of calculations based on Daniel, Revelation, world history, etc. - and preached a msg titled "Why 1992 will be the Last Presidential Election." Obviously, his calculations were a little........off.
I grew up in ultra-fundamentalist circles, and I got completely and totally burned out on end times prophecy stuff. The fact is that NONE OF US knows when the end times are going to be. What good does it do for us to try to figure that out? It's in God's hands. I'll leave it there.

Sorry brian.. But I feel as if it is a cheap shot...

#1 Concerning Huck. I serious feel that you DID NOT read the article link provided.
#2 There is no THEORY here. Based on the evidence provided, its not only a CONFIRMED consipracy, but also you can add the words: collusion and secret. So Brian, there are NO CONSPIRACIES in the facts of the article. to make such a claim is ridiculous.
But, so many times, Christians have made specific predictions and/or associations regarding prophecy, "end times," etc. - and have come out looking foolish. (Not saying you are foolish).
jeez Brian... this has NOTHING to do with the article link, so.. I do not understand why you are even mentioning all of this (an exercise in vexation and vain stirring).

#1 I'm not concerned with your past, here in this particular conversation. You should have avoided this entirely, if what you have a distaste for, will cause divisions within believers.
That is why I mentioned Romans 14. I felt a quick review would spell out my thoughts on this exchange, now which seems to include Phil's unrelated remarks. In other words, the topic thread title here is: Presidential Vote 08 and IS NOT related to the subject of Christianity.
#2 You are INDEED WRONG sir. You are to be aware of times and seasons. Look it up.
I should not be the one retorting this to you, Brian. The reason is simple. As I have told you before, you are a pastor, and as such carry authority. In that - I respect such position - even though you are not my pastor. Yet - such a position is TO BE respected - and as such - and ALL true believers SHOULD understand exactly what I am saying. Because of this, I do not understand why you would come at in such a blatant way. A word to the wise is sufficient.
Watch now as the hole that was dug will now become exploited and for this, is why I say - avoid my responses next time then! If you do not want me to post here any longer (which I know is not the case) and voice my opinion, then understand that I linger here by a thin thread as it is.
Please do not ridicule me publicly again. If you feel you did not do this, then please consider MY OPINION that you did (it came off as such TO ME)...
I moving forward in the expectation that you did not realize the harshness of your response and my distaste for it, especially coming from a person that should be respected and held up.
This now ends my soapbox......... No harm is done.
A word to the wise is sufficient.

Egotism is such a sad commentary on how people can relate.

Here is an example of a spirit, Migisi. Are you able to sense it?

A spirit is not a person; but, it represents an aspect or aura of a person.

- Huckabee on Sovereignty
Wendell,
I disagree that Mike Huckabee plans to lead the nation toward a globalist new world order. I did skim the article, and will need to do more research on Mr. Haas. I can't speak for all of Huckabee's donors and advisers. My focus is on what Huckabee himself supports. And Huckabee clearly supports US sovereignty.

http://www.thenewhampshireprimary.com/ne...
And in his own words....
"My administration will never surrender any of our sovereignty, which is why I was the first presidential candidate to oppose ratification of the Law of the Sea Treaty, which would endanger both our national security and our economic interests." ("America's Priorities in the War on Terror": Foreign Affairs Jan 1, 2008)
And...
"I don't want to ever give up one ounce of US sovereignty." (from a Fox News December 2007 interview)

- Personal note
Wendell,
I have mixed feelings about our exchange. I've spent a great deal of time researching the candidates, and didn't come to my support of Mike Huckabee lightly. So, when someone (whoever it may be) calls him a "fascist" (and that's a very loaded term, however you may have meant it - it's very provocative), that is something I find objectionable.
Be that as it may, though, I don't want to rehash all this. I consider you a friend, and certainly didn't intend to take a "cheap shot" or attack you personally or anything like that.
