Ron Paul will back McCain - when hell freezes over. I completely agree with him about McCain. Too bad Republican voters aren't listening. I wonder if they even ~know~ what McCain's platform is.

A great many of the Republican base for McCain, see him as carrying out the responsibilities set in motion by GeeDubya in his book, A Charge to Keep: My Journey to the White House (1999).

Good op-ed on Obama by Charles Krauthammer. Makes the case that Obama is "selling platitudes" and "issuing promissory notes he can't possibly redeem." A good article.
