He hasn't lost my vote.
.
I haven't decided.
.
I don't expect I will until the nominations will be made.
.
If I vote in the Republican primary, it will most likely be Huckabee.
.
If I vote in the Democratic primary, it will most likely be Edwards or Biden.
.
In Michigan, we can choose which ticket to vote in the primary; but, not both.
.
Problem is that some Democrats have not filed in Michigan. We can vote "uncommitted".

In response to Response to your issues posted by pink101:

That's the way it is in Virginia. I'm new to Ohio. Not sure about my new state. I'll find out as we get closer.

As to Huckabee, I doubt he'll get your vote...knowing you. happy He's with you (or at least in your ballpark) on several issues (health care, jobs, etc.) and he's a pretty straight-shooter. But he's opposed to abortion, same-sex marriage and in favor of our involvement in Iraq. I suspect those things will hurt him a lot with voters like you, Migisi, and others.

But...that's okay. We all have to make our individual decisions. At least, with Huckabee, you know where he stands. Unlike Romney - who I have little respect for.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Ron Paul

Paul is the most interesting of the candidates this election cycle. He won't get the GOP nomination, but he WILL have substantial bargaining power with the GOP. He'll no doubt demand a prime-time slot to speak at the Republican presidential convention - and will probably demand other things as well. The GOP will be hard-pressed to deny him. If they do and he runs as an Independent, they're finished for 08!

In fact, I think that if Ron Paul ran as an Independent, he'd outpoll Ross Perot's 1992 performance.

In response to Ron Paul posted by BrianTubbs:

.
My sense on Huckleberry Mike is that his "Christian" beliefs will remain personal which means he will accede to the Supreme Law of The Land when it comes to such as abortion, etc. In other words, he won't push his position above the Constitution like Bush has done. So, I'm not worried about his Christian convictions. In that sense, I don't see him as being nixonian either. I think he is a man of conviction--much as I see you.
.
Paul? He's another fish to fry. He makes a lot of sense; but, he fails when it comes to the common good of our society. And, that is where Huckleberry Mike shines.
.
I have a relative who lives in Tennessee. That's where Mike is governor, right? She carries a doctorate in education and I will ask her what she thinks. I left the Republican Party when Goldwater did his dance. Don't forget, I was raised as a Baptist and a Republican. "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." Heh heh Unless you didn't train him well happy

.
Hornestay presents an interesting point of view in his recent article at the American History site: http://americanhistory.suite101.com/arti...
And, in regards to it, it seem to me that we should give great consideration to candidates for president that provide us with a choice.
.
Maybe Huckleberry Mike is such a candidate. It is difficult to think that he could be bought off by some big moneyed interests. I am not so sure about any other candidates on either side of the divide.

.
And, Ron Paul is different--not a tool of any big moneyed interests. I like him as well.
.
I don't like his attitude about the common wealth however.
.
The Middle Class has made America great. We must protect the middle class by taxing the rich and wealthy at a progressively higher rate and reaching down into the under classes to elevate them into the middle classes where they can find opportunity for advancing.
.
I think Huckleberry Mike believes that; but, time will tell as he is grilled on his sensitivities in this area.
.
What I think the issues prioritized in the rank they should be:
#1. Education
#2. Jobs
#3. Health-care
#4. Foreign Relations
#5. The Economy
.
I'd like to know how the candidates speak to these issues.

The video is excellent. None of that gobble de gook you hear from most others.
