Several of you are fans of John F. Kennedy. In light of the current War on Terror (and some of the criticisms that have been leveled against US foreign policy here in these discussion boards), what think ye of this quote from JFK's Inaugural Address?

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty"
