You are partly correct, Pink, but you took your point to an extreme and it had an air of mockery to it - which was not justified.
I do not believe one needs to FULLY and COMPLETELY understand a concept in order to embrace it.
However...I also don't think a person is justified to ignore evidence, logic, and/or powerful arguments that contradict one's beliefs.
I understand the Trinity ENOUGH to know that it relies on spirituality and a multi-dimensional framework, in order for it to be plausible. In a single-dimensional, fully NATURAL framework, the doctrine makes no sense whatever. I understand that. But since I accept the existence of the supernatural and therefore a whole other dimension to existence outside of our own, I see that the Trinity is plausible. This allows me to credibly embrace it - and preach it.
