The deity of Jesus Christ is indeed part of the doctrine of the Trinity, but there are all kinds of differing interpretations and understandings about the nature of the Trinity - how it works, what it looks like, etc. Paul makes clear that the bottom line requirement is embracing the risen Christ as "Lord."
