Whew! Yes, way too much. happy I had a great time watching my team hussle and win! I won quite a few bets too. I love taking money from football 'experts'. Hee hee. happy
.
The party lasted into the wee hours - and so did the thunder snow storm which buried us AGAIN. Grandkids were put to bed here and I had them stay over til yesterday evening. I'm still exhausted -- in a good way. happy
.
Today, I'll be casting my vote in our primary. I figure "use it or lose it" (my vote, that is). Hope the snow storm holds off until after voting closes. Weather guys predict another 6-12 inches here by tomorrow. Lordy, I'm SO sick of winter.

So, in the grand old Illinois tradition started by Honest Abe, you'll probably trudge through miles of blizzard blown snow to cast your single vote. I can see you clasping your shawl about your neck as you struggle and brave your way over the rivers and through the woods on your way to your polling place.
.
Or will you just drive over in your Hummer?

More like Alaskan tradition this winter. I've harnessed up the sled dog team, Pink. Got on my down parka and whale skin boots. If I don't make it back by dark, send the St. Bernard with a whiskey flask. happy
.
I do have a really nice squaw shawl, but it's not proper attire to wear to the poll (pole) ~barn~. Flannel shirt, cover alls, and pig boots is the dress of the day (and every day). Tee hee.

Yeah, I predict he'll win. Obama's had 'da mayor's' endorsement since 2006. That means all labor unions, city employees (and 'ghost' workers), the city council etc. will vote for Obama. It's that well-oiled Chicago 'machine', dontcha know. Vote, and vote often. (wink) The rest of the state doesn't matter. If you've got Chicagoland, you've got it all.
