Brian posted, To the extent that postmodernism, however, has caused us to question knowledge and truth themselves, it has become very dangerous.
.
If by "it" you mean life itself, I sure do agree with you.
.
When the truth of the matter strikes us smack dab in the middle of our face, we are forced to recognize just how dangerous our time has come to be.
.
You are absolutely correct again.
.
Holding on to past stories only helps us kid ourselves that all is okay. It IS NOT all okay. Our present political leadership is headed for a catastrophic collision with reality. Things must change.
.
Brian alos posted, I categorically reject the notion that it is impossible to acquire and/or to possess knowledge.
.
So do I; but, knowledge can be kept from us as it has been in the past. When our political leaders get legislation that allows them to keep secret information from us, we are screwed and screwed good.
.
Face it.
