What happens to the person who watches that video and who doesn't agree with its message?

The video presents one of the major questions with which we are faced now that postmodernism is well upon us. In fact, the question comes out of postmodernism--it wouldn't have been asked before World War II.
.
On a deeper note, the question begs the idea of knowledge and of who or what it is that has the authority to possess higher knowledge.
.
Suppose that knowledge has been discovered that proves beyond any doubt that extraterestial life exists and that its agents have visited Earth and have not only had contact with select authorities; but, continue to maintain regular relationship with them. The question just posed above wonders if that authority would release the information to the general population. Or, would such an authority keep that knowledge from us because it would destroy our ideas of objective morality that are raised in the video Brian linked?

An even more remote question might be if government should be in charge of knowledge or should "private enterprise" possess it.
.
It must be said that some of our government officials act in strange ways when it comes to making decisions that impinge on the pulbic welfare.
