It won't be easy for our government to end the Iraq Occupation.

The United States' Bush Administration got us into one of the worst imaginable debacles in our society's history.
.
Bush started the war on Iraqi society. The war ended in a matter of days when the Hussein regime was quickly defeated. Then the Occupation began and it has been going on for some five years now. Precious American lives are offered up daily as blood sacrifices to satisfy the lusts of Bush's big money backers and the religious zealots who add fuel to the raging middle eastern inferno.

Now, they're telling us that ending the occupation will result in even more blood shed and mayhem. It isn't that they didn't know that there would be a blood bath when the occupation would finally be brought to an end. It's exactly what happened when the British pulled out in the 1930s--within three days the blood shed began.
.
When one nation occupies the land of another, it's predictable that big trouble will follow.
.
We have no business occupying another People's land for the purpose of securing that People's resources for the unbridled lusts of corporate powers--no matter how strong their lobbies are in our nation's capital. It's time for the real People of America--those with courage--to stand up in anger against the ideologues of Christianity and to end this Atrocious Occupation that is being called a War on Terror.

You're right to call it the 'Iraq Occupation'. Some people still believe we're fighting 'terrorists' and foreign 'insurgents' there. Fact is, we've made terrorists out of the common ordinary people. How would WE react to foreign occupation here? Walk in Iraqi sandals for a day.
