LIFE: The Teacher

What have you learned from life-so far?
.
Looking into life as the schoolroom out of which we take our most important lessons does not seem as though it is heavily considered by most folk. Nor do most of us seem to be in search of any answers which may--after all--only lead us to some further perplexity. Generally, we try settling on some respected authority for the greater answers. For example, Muslims look to the writings they find in their beloved Koran where they find their unquestionable answers-often with the help of some spiritual leader of renown.

Life-itself-might be seen as the teacher that gives and the provider of classrooms out of which we can take our most valuable lessons. So, it seems particularly interesting that we turn away from those around us that have been in class the longest.

How does anyone think we should intelligently we go about qualifying any persons to whom we should pay any attention? Any suggestions?
