In response to Of Bush's boozing... posted by Migisi:

If the video's fake...as Pink suggests...it'd take all the fun out of it. happy Then, there'd need to be some other excuse found for Brand Bush...and no-one's blaming those who voted him in, right? happy

I'm trying to make sense of your Presidential campaign and what if it was our system. We're in the throes of appointing our next (and possibly last according to the republic watchers) Governor-General (G-G). These exposes of Dubya remind me of our former G-G Sir John Kerr and his very public no-mistakes-about-it drunken behaviour and other behaviour when dismissing the Whitlam government that lifetime ago.

But then, to 'miss' important meetings the next day? Who did he think he was fooling?

What's the best excuse offered for his missed meetings. I mean, it's all about public perceptions as well as substance, isn't it? A generally unfit, unreliable but sober President is not a good look either...but hey, what would I know about what you guys tolerate. happy

"Good for the arteries, don'tcha know. (wink)"

I read the research...two beers or red wine or...is better than one. Accredited longitudinal research seems to me. ABC

Spilling his beer? Maybe he has amblyopia like me. That condition includes problems with depth perception ie the glass is closer than it really is. Sorry - tis the 3C within. OK...he's drunk! happy
