Heh heh heh
.
Diatribes?
.
I'm sort of academic in my thinking and in the way I put my thoughts out.
.
I could do a critique on the "vlogging" that is taking place there on Youtube. But, to what avail?
.
I'm still in a learning curve.

I recall expressions of mine that could have been better used in a later post or questions that have since lost their context.
.
You're a step, and hours, ahead of me. Your Saturday is already over, but mine is just beginning. I wonder if this time warp, and our own levels of alertness or fatigue, play a part in lost context? Just musing.
.
But then, am I seeking validation my views or questions aren't always entirely off the wall?
.
Validation from us here? Heh heh. Which one of us is ~not~ off the wall on any given day?
.
Or expressing a profound hope that they'll inspire an epiphany here?
.
I wonder if we here aren't too locked into our own POV to experience epiphanies -- to ~want~ to experience them?
.
Do I enjoy the smell of roses less if they're grown by criminals?
.
By sniff or sight, could we determine who grew it? And do we care? happy
.
But after talking to my financial advisor yesterday, I'm sure I didn't enter into the beginning of the (life) cycle that says there's a risk of a bad year only every 20 years.
.
Or a ~good~ year every 20. Only 3 or 4 years in our lifetime to concern us? That would be wonderful. happy

You are many hours behind, tis true. Have you h/read our dollar, previously only worth 50 cents of yours, is almost at parity. Ergo a holiday in the USA is cheaper for us? happy And petrol and imports. Anyway, methinks there is a broader context to "lost context" going on. But I'm still happy in this lil ol time warped state I'm in. happy

I intended you have the last word in 'religionism' so won't breach my offer. But let me say I went to the website you hotlinked re 1618 and despite its miniscule++ font, read it through. You're "aint you the one" only moves me to ponder. happy

But then, I found out recently, I'm a 6th generation Aussie and am pondering that, too. happy

I have never been to Michigan, but I am surely going Lord willing in the Spring. I want to see that Upper Peninsula Area. The first time I ever saw it on a map was about a year ago and it looks like pure adventure. It will be a nice break from the boring ole flat landscape of the Chicago area.

Ah, the UP.
.
What a place.
.
For nine years, I spent every summer up there.
.
You need to spend a good long time up there on the Shores of Gitchee Gummee, the Shining Big Sea Water. You can start out at Cut River and you can end up exploring the shores of Lake Superior. I think you'll want to get into the "back country" and away from the tourist traps.
.
I love the U.P. It is truly God's Country. But, there are some very common places you'd just as soon by-pass.
.
All in all? You have to stop and smell the roses.
.
I remember one time we left Marquette on our way back to the Straits. It was in late September and we were driving on a two lane. It started to snow. Within an hour the snow was at least ten inches deep. It was a beautiful site.

I thunk I nede to lurn Michiganese gooder. happy 'Aint you the one' sorta reads like variations of I think I got tickets on myself...which didn't make sense in context, hence the "ponder". happy

I spent the weekend on the beautiful Central Coast. Imagine Michigan on its best day, you've got the Central Coast on its worst. ABC happy Anyway, 6 hours of bus, train and...waiting... and I got to The Entrance. 50% of the time waiting for a bus that took an hour to get me to the final stop. The return trip involved getting a lift of 30 minutes that shaved 3 hours off the journey!
