. I am still stuck on Jesus after all these years. I have no plans to abandon Him.

That's what you want everyone to believe and you've got yourself about 90% convinced of it. But, something else is really at work and, deep down in your deepest thoughts you know it. It's not Jesus who is holding you down. His message is that you were set free "all those years ago" from your bondage. You have come to the place where you love the comfort of your bondage.
.
It's not Jesus that you're stuck on. It's membership in a group; being faithful to mother; an interpretation of what it means to be stuck on Jesus; all these things and more that have you in their chains of bondage. It's popular among the "saved" that they claim the things you spout off with. It's a world dominated by cliche. "Can I get an amen?" The way you try to put down those who are in opposition to your stand is so typical of the self righteous who sit frumpishly in their pews during Sunday services. I've seen them over and over. I know the type well. Think of all those who would be forced to turn over in their grave if you were ever to go back on what they bound you up in. You cannot be free. You are in bondage to the dead and gone. Your bondage--itself--is a terrible thing to face up to.
