A starting place to figure that folks like you submit to Science and Research when the going gets a little rough in the health area. Not a prayer? Or maybe prayer after everything else goes haywire? No need for the One? (i guess i should ask migisi).

You also submit to science and research when health issues arise. You mentioned that you'd seen a doctor recently. Can medical science delay the inevitable? Sometimes. Our time can be extended through procedures and treatments. Can science stop the inevitable? No.

Likewise, can prayer delay the inevitable? Sometimes. Prayer and/or meditation originates in the mind. Studies have shown that the mind does have an impact on physical illness and wellness. But can prayer and/or meditation stop the inevitable? No.

We are mortal, having a beginning - and an end. Life is just a short interval between the two. Nobody gets out alive.
