okie.. back on track!... Here we go... First, a repeat of post #1... Isaiah 55:11: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. J V McGee states that chapters 54-57 of Isaiah speak of: Results of the redemption wrought by the Redeemer, who is God's only Savior. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: This verse indicates that, "goeth forth [ out of my mouth ] refers to Jesus. He is called - The Word of God. I will hold my thought here (for the moment).... -- posted by _Boanerges_

I believe Isaiah is speaking of Jesus.. The immediate 'problem' with this, of course, is that most (all?) English translations use the lower-case 'word' in Isaiah 55. Correct? Yes. An axiom.. -- posted by _Boanerges_ » _Boanerges_ - continuing..... In response to Word, not word - eh? posted by _Boanerges_:
Matthew 4 4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" 7 Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'" 10 Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'" 11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. -- posted by _Boanerges_ » pink101 - continuing.....
