Gen 6:6 - "The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth-men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air-for I am grieved that I have made them.... 13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth."

Okay, let's go with puter games. Let's have some fun...
.
For his entertainment and to pass the time (which was an eternity), the Bible God created a game - a challenge between good and evil. God created and programmed Lucifer as his evil character, and programmed heavenlies as the good guys. Lucifer started off strong in Heaven, quickly turning 1/3 of God's heavenlies into forces of evil. Oh well, that didn't work. So God created another level - humans. Let's see if Lucifer can defeat them! No problem. Too easy. After only a few plays, Lucifer's forces grew quite large. Lucifer was winning, and God became upset. So, God decided to wipe the hard disk clean and create a new game. But he had second thoughts. He'd lose all those great graphics if he destroyed the whole game. And he'd worked on those for a full week! Besides, he really liked the creatures and earth he'd made. And how could he destroy his last and only good man standing - ol' Noah? That would mean God would have to concede the first game to Lucifer. No way! So God saved the critters, earth, and Noah on a separate disk for his new game. He wiped out Lucifer's forces, but decided to keep Lucifer and a few of his minions for the new game. If he wiped them out altogether, he'd be forced to develop some other kind of conflict concept for the new game. Nah, Lucifer was perfect. In the new game, God would just have to make his forces more powerful than Lucifer's. For 40 days, God worked on the new game - creating an intricate multi-level game with demons, heroes, magic, miracles, talking donkeys. Whoowee. Only a god like himself would be able to beat this game!

How am I doing so far?
