» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Consider the Possibilities

Not every topic or thread has to be an argument or a topic of controversy. Why not start some topics on PRACTICAL subjects?

I belong, for example, to a writer's forum. Not just the one here at the Suite, but another. AbsoluteWrite - if anyone's interested.

We share advice, tips, encouragement, and ideas related to our WRITING. It's practical and rewarding.

I'd like to think that we are all capable of doing the same here.

I don't want to discourage the debating. I just want us to broaden things out a bit. I fear - strike that, I know - that we've scared off a lot of would-be participants with the animosity and intensity that some of our threads have produced.

Let's be a little more proactive, creative, and constructive. Think about some helpful and PRACTICAL topics we can talk about, like stress, addictions, relationships, diet and exercise, etc.

I am aware that this is a Protestantism website, so I don't think woodworking, gardening, and football would necessarily be appropriate. happy But there are a lot of subjects that relate with faith themes.

I've already started one on Marriage issues. Feel free to start others.
