The idea of Self Discovery--itself--seems to be on the outs as far as society seems concerned today. People seem to look for a life style as though there were some store where they can find one to fit them hanging on a rack at a bargain price. With a double your money back guarantee, of course.

I could go into long explications regarding the ideas of "Structural Functionalism"/ but, I doubt that anyone would read them. However, that is where the problem exists as far as I can see.
