You're right re my reference. The neighbour's wife may be objectified as a god if one covets her?

This part of the 2nd commandment: "You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above..." doesn't seem to rule out other real good or bad gods. Unless God was subsequently only referring to being "jealous" of any man-made images of himself/Jesus.

It appears relevant to me. Who are the ones who keep harping on the idea that their personals business is not going to be involved with Jesus? It looks like it be Pinky and migisi. The rest of us are in need of some of the Grace of God. We be the Sinners Jesus came for.

When I tried to answer the question, it was if someone thought: "Surely you can't be serious?" I was but don't call me Shirley. Sorry...I'm a 'Flying High' fan. I did think though there may have been a verse Christians place more reliance on to answer that question.

I'm not coming here for bunfights. It's only when the dust settles I'm seen on the sidelines. And I'm relying on you to recall some of my posts to 'Adam's Bellybutton' as far as my developing take on things Christian were concerned.

But as per my previous question, the verse still seems to allow for people to be righteous in a good way so I guess Pink and Migisi are doing just fine, maybe better than just fine.

The audio for 'oneplace' doesn't work properly...my computer or that website? Pink's links also come to grief as my internet connectivity is disrupted when I go to check a second website while online at suite101.

I do make efforts to check any link offered by all here but aint always successful. By the time I can check and come back, the topic has gone way past it.
