In response to Reference posted by pink101:
It is not a burden of proof to know what Jehovah Witness believe. That is you duty to perform if you want to be objective and know how their translations differ. So.. its not a burden of proof statement. Its an OBJECTIVE statement. Once you know the differences, then we can continue this conversation.

You should at least be knowledgeable of what JW's believe in order to have a rational discussion, dont you think...

Wendell dodges my statement with, Did I say "original texts".. No, I did not.
.
.
Here is exactly what you wrote in post # 29, up above:
.
I said - the NT has over 5000 NT transcripts to verify its authenticity. Translations are simply translations. A true person of inquiry would do as I have done, as Brother Jones has done, as Brian has done, and as countless millions have done. Study the original texts available.
.
You are a hard man to keep honest.
.
Six years of study of the "original texts". My that IS commendable. You and Brian AND Brother Jones. Did you do that together or did you do it separately? Under some supervision or was it by praxis? Do you have a degree in the study of the original texts?
.

Personally, I don't give a hoot about the Jehovah's Witness system of belief. I doubt I could care less.
.
I'm not the one making the claims here. You are that one. My guess is that you are trying to trash this thread. Am I correct?
.
You certainly are making it uninteresting to any would be participants.

Then, you would have no idea what evolution means in relation.

Study the original texts available.

Is referencing the original language, as mentioned in the prior message. All ORIGINAL manuscripts are lost to history. All that remains are copies of the ORIGNAL's... And that is true for ALL of antiquity.

So - you want me to teach you about what the JW's believe?.... Is that what you are asking... Or - would you rather do some quick research and the come back and carry on about "evolutionary bible translations" with the example of JW's??....

So, when you originally claimed you and Brian and Brother Jones and millions of others have studied the original texts you really didn't write that? Who did? And, what is it that you studied for six years--the "original language"?
.
No one could accuse you of being a B.S. artist, could they?

Jehovah Witness's believe in annihilation... The bible does not teach such a concept. Don't you think you should at least know these little differences if you are going to have an objective conversation?

"Pbjective conversation"? Are you kidding?
.
You're the one who claims to know the absolute truth. How could anyone be objective with you? You are the figure of subjectivity.

happy
.
Let's see. This thread was started by Brian, right?
.
Don't you think we should wait for his input?
.
Maybe even allow someone else like Migisi, Redback, or Brother Jones to take a shot?
