Yes indeed, things ARE ~always~ going on. Thanks to the global news media, we hear long lists of daily disasters and calamities around the world. They're going to 'appear' connected, only because we hear about them in the same news cast. I think when we try to make sense of so many things and deal with our distress, we tend to want to link them together and place blame on some one thing, group, or person. To find some explanation and somebody to punish. Sure, there's always a 'cause' (natural or man-made), but it doesn't have to be a government conspiracy. Sometimes stuff just happens. That's how I view things, anyway.
