Wasn't there quite a bit of talk about the disease, AIDS, some years ago that it was the product of the CDC and used as a method of ridding the world of homosexuals?
.
I do recall some of the far out comments that were made on the subject.

Most conspiracy people agree that AIDS/HIV was a disease invented simply to kill off masses of population - which it has done.... through the guise of TB shots... (or something like that). Most deaths are in Africa..... go figure...

I predict you will see more and more of these types of things..
.
I'm sure you're right. With our rapidly aging, sorrily neglected, and sometimes poorly designed/built infrastructure, I'd expect to hear more. And the more we build, the more will fail eventually. This year, my house power line from the street simply fell down because its old supports failed. My 3-year-old rider mower is in the shop right now. The cutting deck welds failed from hundreds of miles of bouncing on the ground. And two of my three dogs required surgery this year for weird things. Stuff just happens, and sometimes all at once. It's Murphy's Law.

I don't mean to say that I'd accept just any ol' answer as to causes, or that investigation isn't necessary. It surely IS.

no doubt.... but, do not misunderstand, I agree.. stuff gets old.... but.. a sound mind and good evidence usually leads away from the mind-control and propaganda that has filled and permeated our lives...

or.. that is to say.. I believe that "wag the dog" is more of a reality, than a fictional movie....

Good point. That movie did intrigue me. People used to think the old Flash Gordon TV series was silly -- until we launched our first manned rocket into space. Anything's possible. If man can think it, he'll figure out a way to do it.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Conspiracies and Extremism

I personally think we need to stay away from the extremes. On the one hand, we shouldn't be so gullible and trusting that we take everything said to us by the government (at any level) on face value. On the other, we shouldn't assume that most or every tragedy that happens has some connection to some sinister conspiracy.

There's a danger of being too naive and also a danger of being too paranoid.
