Maybe Wendell; but, who knows?

We know that Migisi has been thoroughly discounted and that Brian has been raised nearly to sainthood this moring. It's hard to say who might tackle such an ominous issue.

» _Boanerges_ - about prayer?

In response to Interesting Tree symbolism posted by Brother_Jones:

What advice would you give a struggling person about prayer?

God will answer those who earnestly seek Him. Prayer is vital in any believers life, as the Apostles have shown us, as Jesus showed them.

Have you drawn closer to God in these past couple of years by talking with Him in private?

God does answer prayer. Brother Craig was a good example of God working through a man willing to do such a work. I am witness to that truth.. happy

would toss up an idea about prayer and try to follow your act or mine.
.
I was driving alone on a country road. The sunset was breath-taking. It took real effort to take my eyes off it and watch the road. The red orb balanced itself right on the horizon line, the corn tassles glowed gold, and Evening Primrose and Queen Ann's lace framed the roadside. Up from the sea of corn rose a great ball of Starlings. Twirling, diving, and circling in unison - flying tightly in perfect sync, each equally spaced apart so wings don't touch. The ball changed shape, expanded, and then stretched, becoming an undulating river that flowed into the sun. George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" was playing on the radio.
.
Sometimes things come together perfectly - simple things which, by themselves, might go unnoticed. But together they inspire deeper (or higher) thoughts about passing through this life into the next. Like a Starling flying into the sunset.
.
This is how I pray.

You paint a beautiful picture of God's creation. Praise and worship in the midst of all things mighty and wonderful. I can imagine there even being a place in your mind to honor highest forms of wit, laughter and even sarcasm ...the artful discussion that leads to dreams of better relationships. We are taught in the Bible how to lament. The lamentations of a human being to struggle with themselves and with God and with everybody else. And how to voice the cry of the heart to God, when we are really hurt and hurting.

i am just an oldtimer for the Lord.

.
You paint a beautiful picture of God's creation. Praise and worship in the midst of all things mighty and wonderful.
.
And in all things fragile and simple. Mighty are the gifts ... the perfect structure of a feather, the hope in a budding flower, strobe lightning in storm clouds seen from afar, rain drops falling into a bird bath, the last evening song of a robin, Grass Spider webs blanketing the lawn and shimmering with dew at sunrise, the music of water swirling around a creek rock, the halo colors in a sun dog, an aurora in the night sky... everything in nature can be used to focus our thoughts on the ONE. I believe that's what they were created and designed to do.
.
I can imagine there even being a place in your mind to honor highest forms of wit, laughter and even sarcasm ...the artful discussion that leads to dreams of better relationships.
.
All the marvels that nature presents can't compare to the expression of the human mind. NOTHING on earth equals or surpasses its awesomeness - because this is where ONE exists in every being. Some may deny ONE's existence, but the fact that they have thoughts about the ONE proves that he does indeed exist in their mind. Does that make sense?
.
We are taught in the Bible how to lament. The lamentations of a human being to struggle with themselves and with God and with everybody else. And how to voice the cry of the heart to God, when we are really hurt and hurting.
.
Must we be taught how to lament? Trained how to praise and worship? Be instructed on how to express our hearts? Must we adhere to a set of prescribed rules and rituals set down by others? I think not. I believe lamentation, praise and worship, and expressions of heart come naturally and spontaneously to each human spirit, and it's wonderful and powerful when it happens. I also believe the struggle with ourselves and others, and with the ONE, comes when we try (or are pressured) to follow another path rather than the one specifically selected by the ONE for ~each~ of us.
.

.
You have found a depth of wisdom in your experiences.
.
I expect you present your understandings to visitors who come to your exhibits. Do you give them lectures?
.
I have developed a great respect for the thoughts you express here.
.
Perhaps the characteristic I respect the most is the down to earth approach you make in raising other people up. You work at it, don't you?
.
I don't mean to sponsor you; but, you are very good to articulate some of what I see in life. So, who am I that I say that is wisdom. lol. happy
.
But, I think it is the Song of Wisdom.
