So, as an ex-occult member you believe the Harry Potter series is a negative influence on a young child's mind?
.
Can you be more specific?
Not really, no. They're just fantasy stories. I believe the target reader (12 and up) is well aware that it is fiction. If any clild turns to real life occultism to learn HP magic, they're going to be very disappointed.
Hope that clears it up for you.:)

I was meaning that she has stated that she is a Christian. However, I haven't really seen her show that she is a Christian, apart from believing in God and going to church, but that doesn't make one a Christian. It is unclear whether she is or not so I said "self-claimed Christian".

In other words, are you saying that she sez she is a Christian such as I might say that I am a Christian?

This is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo here, Pink. What in the world are you trying to get at?????? You can call yourself whatever you want to call yourself. Just as JK Rowling can. Just as I can. Just as Kim, Wendell, Migisi, PaperTurtle, anyone else here can.
Now, we have this same discussion going on in two different threads. Can we get this one back to Harry Potter?

I'll just answer your question before we get back to HP.
To be honest I don't know what you are. From the looks of it you are kind of in between being a Liberal Christian and an Agnostic. That's what I think anyway.:)
