» Migisi - Condemned by who..?

In response to Condemned by who..? posted by pink101:
.
I don't think we can find a place where God condemns all human beings.
.
Gen 6:6 - "The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth-men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air-for I am grieved that I have made them."
.
God was definitely having a bad day - disgusted with the world. Ever have one of those kinda days? But he spared Noah and his family. So I guess you're right - not ALL humans were condemned.

In response to Condemnation posted by pink101:

Phil, did you not catch that part about the "wrath of God"? Reread John 3:36.

And flip over to Revelation and the Great White Throne of Judgment. The priests have nothing to do with that one. That's all God.

» Feature Writer Brian Tubbs - Nature of God (reply to Migisi)

In response to Condemned by who..? posted by Migisi:

You clearly don't accept the idea that God could be or might be "disgusted" with anything. To you, you expect God to be a fluffy, friendly Marshmallow in the sky that never has anything critical to say about anybody. Otherwise, there is no god. This is an emotional demand, Migisi. The Bible presents God as being a God of emotion -- at times, a God of wrath. There is no logical reason why this can't be so. You may not like it, but that has no bearing on reality.

Brian teaches us how Migisi's mind works.
.
I guess I didn't know this, but, here it is right straight from Brian's keyboard; so, it must be the absolute truth. Speaking directly to Migisi, Brian writes, "you expect God to be a fluffy, friendly Marshmallow in the sky that never has anything critical to say about anybody.".
.
Good gosh, Migis. How can you be so stupid as to believe that kind of trash? I'm ashamed of you. Perhaps I should make some kind of a disclaimer in regards to any association I might have with you.
.
By the way, Brian, thanks for enlightening us about the stupid Migisi.

Phil has run out of arguments... as a result, the "intellectual" does such a thing only because thats all they have to add to anything.. quite sad.. but... hey... its the way the world operates... When you cannot answer simple questions, attack the person!... haha.. how grade school...
but.. I aint mad at Phil.. and who could be actually. we can only have pity for his tormented soul... but, as Phil claims, he WILL deliver himself.... that is a certainty...

Where did you get that idea? In my post, I wrote: "God was definitely having a bad day - disgusted with the world."
.
To you, you expect God to be a fluffy, friendly Marshmallow in the sky that never has anything critical to say about anybody.
.
I think you've mixed me up with somebody else and their god.
.
This is an emotional demand, Migisi.
.
What is? And who's demanding?
.
The Bible presents God as being a God of emotion -- at times, a God of wrath.

Agree. I've never said otherwise. I've pointed that out more often than not.
.
There is no logical reason why this can't be so.

Okay. It's your movie.

You may not like it, but that has no bearing on reality.
