- Believeth WHAT?
What am I evading or avoiding? To "believe in Jesus" means to embrace Him fully -- to put your full faith and trust in Him. To make a decision to base your life on Him. This becomes clearer when you read Jesus' references to being "born again."
As for "everlasting life," that means that life that will last forever. Since I've only lived 38 years, I can't say yet that I've experienced life that lasts forever - i.e., immortality.

- Condemned by who..?
But, EVERYONE who does not believe is automatically condemned by Christians.
Migisi, you've cited examples of being snubbed and/or criticized and/or ostracized by rude Christians. Fine. But let's be clear on what we mean by "condemnation."
If we're talking moral, verbal "condemnation," then those examples are a dime a dozen. I've seen you and Pink condemn George W. Bush repeatedly. Morally/verbally speaking, that is.
If we're talking spiritual condemnation - as in the condemnation of the soul - well, now, that's a different thing altogether. NO HUMAN BEING has the authority to issue such a condemnation of another human being.
Only God can do that.

Why would a loving God condemn his children when, with a sneeze or blink, he could transform them into what he wants them to be. Kah-choo! And all's right with his creation. Why all the drama?
would you like to hear my viewpoint...?...

I don't think we can find a place where God condemns all human beings.
.
It is the priesthood that does the condemnation and it is to further their claims and control over the people that fall in to their traps.
.
The entire good news of the Gospel is that God does NOT condemn anyone; but, destroys the claim the priesthood has on each and every one of us. We are set free from those claims by the Gospel of Jesus,
.
Poof! There goes all the religionism. But, the religionist still holds on for all their might.

Who is the false teacher?

- Condemnation
I can't top Jesus, so I'll just let Jesus answer your question. See John 3 - all of it - for the full context. But here are the key verses...
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
And then...
36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him
There you have it. The words of Jesus as recorded by John the apostle. What more can I add to that?

But, Brian, Jesus never says where the condemnation originates, does he?
.
The condemnation comes from the priesthood--plain and simple.
