In response to Only One Way posted by _Boanerges_:
.
So, now that you're pained in a corner, all you're going to do is sit there at your keyboard and spout off with evasive blather?
.
How typical of your stripe.
.
My guess is that you've got about as big an ego problem as anyone I've ever run into in all my dag-gone days. But, you'll probably get over it if you life long enough. There's a place up ahead called Waterloo. I've been there. At first you won't like it. But, after while, you'll understand why you had to go there.
.
Why do you come to this thread, anyway? What's in it for you?
.

In response to Boanerges never in a corner posted by punk010:

Phil: You DO claim to possess absolute truth about reality, do you not?

Wendell: Is that an absolute truth according to you?... This is an 'intellectual' question...

In response to finally posted by _Boanerges_:
.
So, you are able to see that the discussion that includes you has come to an end?
.
I doubt it.
.
Of the 57 posts in this thread, 23 originated on your keyboard all of which were attacks on the thread itself in a concerted attempt to ridicule me and to close the thread down.
.
Your reputation holds.
.
sad
.
On what personal characteristic do you base the idea that friendship includes certain bonds?

friends always answer my questions.. you have avoided them and refuse to answer.... So, in the end, the discussion has turned futile and become worthless....

the end of this conversation is nearing... and nothing will be learned and all would have been in vain...

In response to finally posted by _Boanerges_:

So you see the bonds of friendship as being related to the idea of obedience to your interests and desires?
.
Interesting.
.
By the way, I'm not interested in being your friend. I wouldn't trust you with my dog.

In response to _Boanerges_ posted by pink101:

laughing

watching "intellectualism" at its finest - drawn out conclusion...

nothing gained..... except for the emotional.. which, ironically enough, has no bearing to the thread title... (which I believe Pink101 started to begin with)

laughing and giggling at all the intellectual foolishness!
