» Migisi - Nimrod

In response to Nimrod posted by pink101:
.
So, could we read Nimrod Version One through Nimrod Version One Hundred and One?
.
Perhaps they have indeed developed 101 versions of the first Nimrod legend. A few examples: one version is that Nimrod is identified with the Babylonian hero Izdubar or Gishdubar (Gilgamesh); another identifies Nimrod with Marduk, the Babylonian Mercury. Two more theories - one is that Nimrod represents the constellation of Orion; the second that Nimrod stands for a tribe, not an individual.
.
They're all pretty entertaining ideas, IMO.
.
A side question might be about when it was formally decided that the "Book" should be closed to further versions and interpretations.
.
I suppose they had to stop somewhere, or the legends would become far too outlandish to be believable. Add to your 'when', I'd want to know 'who' decided.
