You are the one who brought up the issue of the idea of soul.

It is incomprehensible that a Soul should exist and incomprehensible that it should not. We can't really fathom completely the idea of sin or time. But we can understand that those who see only the darkness will forever draw the conclusion that Jesus was of rather small concern. The testimony of non-believers: 'We have no light and no evidence of any Soul' does show strength of mind but only to a certain degree.

I asked you if, by soul, you meant some being that exists with the mind and body but that is separate and of an eternal nature--yet--an entity that is as personal as the self.

Well maybe we can get some help from some of the other paricipants oh this issue of there being a soul attached to man. I haven't figured it all out. lol. I do have a one track mind sometimes and between my clients, my naps, and my medicines, I can appear to be slightly difficult. Sorry about that.

Well, I did appreciate your encouragement the other day to start into Genesis and have a discussion. It looks like Badactor has flown the coup along with Paper Turtle. And migisi is off paying attention to other threads, so we are sorta lookin pitiful and homely in the thread. I will be happy to leave off with Gen 2:8, until we can get some more interest. It could be that there is a lot of interest in Genesis but nobody really cares about what you and I think about it. I think Wendell posted a couple of times and Brian did. Jeff is just laying around at night thinking of other stuff. But I agree, we do need some solid players who will post a little more often than once a week.

That is pitiful.
I will hold off and evaluate the thread in the next 48 hours.

Migisi gets a little miffed from time to time. I guess we can't blame her for that. She seems to judge a show of aggressive behavior or a bad choice of words as suspiciously macho running to the machismo, at least I think she does. And that seems to drive her off from time to time. It looks like you think they are boycotting the thread for some reason that you and I might be persona non gratia? I wouldn't worry about that. Maybe they're waiting for Brian to come back off vacation? Jeff is clever and waits for an opportunity to have some fun. Crickey!

I think this subject area of Genesis is a good area for consideration and it hasn't got anything to do with personalities.

Well, I'm gonna go to the health club for a work out.

Then I'm coming home to make some lobster salad. Got a good recipe for that? None of the ones I find on the 'Net seem to whet my appetite. I think a good lobster salad needs cucumbers and I can't find a recipe that calls for them. Maybe I'll experiment?
