That gives me a feeling of umbrage.
.
But, this year, I will experience the Spirit of '76 in a brand new way as I turn 76.
.
I hope every one has a Glorious Fourth of July and that we all feel "nationly" like our Founding Fathers.

That's pretty cool. Congratulations on 76 years of life. Both my parents died young, so I'm hoping and praying that I can do better. (Which, btw, brings me to my diet report - I've lost 8 lbs in the last month and a half. It's progress anyway).

8 pounds in 6 weeks.

That's great!

Getting it down where you want it and keeping it there will not only add years to your life; but it will add good years to it. I see a lot of people my age who are in such bad shape. Nothing like staying healthy and happy right up to your last breath.
.
John Hagee had one of those hucksters on his t-v show a couple of years back. The guy was selling a get fit and lose weight program. Hagee bragged that he was going to do the weight loss program and to get back in shape. Uhhh, I think he likes to forget that program. I don't think they play it anymore.

Has any one calculated how many hot dogs America eats on the Fourth of July?
