I don't know when it dropped 'Roman' from its title nor the reason, but the Catholic Church of Australia along with other denominations here are in fact registered corporations with their "own" specific legislation.

Time was $US1 = $AUD2. Now, it's closer: $AUS1 = 86 US cents. They'll surely blame the exchange rate for high prices but tell your sailors to shop at Woollies instead. happy The fact is, locals get stung with the high prices too.

We have Japanese tourists gullible enough to pay to have their photos taken with an Opera House backdrop. They're told it's an australian Government charge. It's actually charged by the Japanese tour leaders BTW, not us.
