'Life is fragile, handle with prayer.'

Ever heard of that particular attitude? It is not too popular with those like you who have turned your backs on God and to such as you, prayer becomes not just an afterthought, but a silly notion. Such comes from a life that is convinced that Jesus is an unreliable source of the information about God. You have hit that target my friend. Bullseye for you. Dead center.

I can see why you like to stay at quite a distance from those who choose to think about Jesus and His death on the Cross..
.
How did you come to this conclusion - from what Pinky said about enjoying life?
.
IMO, he would do well to keep his distance from folks who choose to obsess about death. Certainly takes the fun out of living.

No, that would be unfair. I took it from his overall approach to Jesus Christ, and his unbelief in the idea that life is about similar sacrifice that Christ provided.

It is a step BEYOND logic and rational thought..... At the end of the trail of evidence and logic comes a step of faith

I think it's far bigger than a 'step'. More like a giant leap.

Heh heh heh.
.
Recall that in response to Brother Jones' comments, I had posted:
.
"I can't speak for you or for anyone else; so, I won't.
.
"But, I can say that it SEEMS to me that any person who has a relationship with God would be so awestruck that they NEVER would judge another's relationship with or without God under any conditions.
.
"But, I could be wrong.
.
"What do you think about that, Brother Jones?"
.
----------------------------
.
I think the intended impact of that statement seems to have gone right over his head.
.
One other thing in closing for Brother Jones,
.
Another way of making this statement I made up above in anther post, "...alive and being thankfully excited and thrilled just to be alive..." is that the person is in a constant state of prayer of thanksgiving.
.
I guess it all depends on how a person defines and describes prayer.
.
Maybe you can expound here for a while on your attitude. Or would that be altitude?
.

I must make a humble apology to Brother Jones. I hit him pretty hard. I certainly didn't mean to hurt his feelings; but, maybe I poked a little too much fun at you. The temptation was so great that I went over the top.

Please accept my humble apology.
