Yes, it's a farce. The whole trial was. It was all worked out beforehand by Cheney and Rove ... "Listen Scooter, just keep your mouth shut and we'll handle this". Did anyone really expect Libby would spend one minute serving a prison sentence? But a fine and probation IS a 'guilty' nonetheless, which puts up road blocks to any future government employment. No worries. With book sales, talk show appearances, and speaker fees, he'll be set for life. Just ask the other criminals who did their president's bidding - G. Gordon Liddy and Oliver North.
