Is he 'par' - the norm or usual standard? I think not. Way ~below~ par, IMO - and according to public opinion polls.

Why do we "deserve" any of the above?

Our political party system is the main problem.
How can we possibly break out of that?

Only one way I know... research every country's government system, and move to the one we like most. We can apply as political refugees.

If this is true, and a catastrophic quake hits the West Coast, be sure that Martial Law will put into effect........ If this happens, and the damage is severe (New Orleans or WTC level) then a whole lot of things could follow.. Such as delaying the 08 elections, etc.. etc...
