I have to take the view that--as a society--we must allow all issues to be put on the table for open discussion.

It's a tough call; but, I doubt that "goodness" can be understood where we have so many different perspectives.
.
I think forums like we have here are true exercises in democracy and we need more of them--perhaps we should have official forums of the people rather than the shams that take place in D.C..

I just picked up a book in a used book store Saturday, Studies In Doctrine, by Alister E. McGrath; Zondervan Publishing House, copyright is 1987. Maybe I'll get some ideas from it.
