While I don't like the way he says things, he does have some good points on Christian Zionists (Dispensationalists) like Falwell and their hipocracy regarding Israel, and Falwell's stupid remarks about 9-11...

Then why are you quick to jump in and share this kind of mean-spirited, name calling trash?

Why not just start a discussion on the points you have learned from Falwell's enemies about what he said? Seems like you go down this same road a lot.

If you also believe that Jerry Falwell knowingly tried to rip people from their money and beliefs with an insincere, deceitful spirit, then start a thread on that issue. That was one of the main issues of the clip. And unfortunatly you seem to join others just like yourself who run to jump on anybody you disagree with and hate, regardless of the facts.

You're offended by Hitchen's 'mean-spirited name calling'. Were you equally offended by Falwell's mean-spirited name calling - in the name of your God? If not, you should've been!

It was very poor taste to post that clip in a tribute thread so soon after the man died, and at least two of us are still remembering Jerry Falwell as person and friend who counted for the good.
