I am a fundamental Christian but by you saying that dispensationalism is tied to being a fundamental Christian is like saying that a car is tied to Gasoline... It's not. It's necessary to use fuel but gasoline is not the only type. Granted no comparison is never as good in actuality but for the sake of an idea... yeah.
My main contention is that dispensationalists believe that those who came before Jesus where saved because of a Lamb sacrifice.
I entirely call that BS.
imagine (and it's a likely scenario for that time) A poor man lives in the desert and his family is far from the cities. They don't have a spotless lamb and can't afford to travel a 2 or 3 day trip to make a sacrifice... he dies... and what? goes to hell???
Surely not. This is not the Gospel messag that Christ gives us. In fact it's opposite. Christ is trying to show us that HE has been the promise... Everything THEY did was an emulation to what Christ did. Just like praying at an alter is the SAME emulation. (FYI: An alter is where they sacrificed animals in the OT and our praying at an alter is an emulation of Christ's death on the cross. We are sacrificng ourselves though... though not for propiciation)
See, only CHRIST is salvation... for now and for ever was. Not... salvation begna 2000 years ago on the cross. It was ALWAYS available... God knew it all from the beginning.
