» HeadZenCards - Troll?

In response to Dispensationalism posted by GodChsr:

Matt. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN.

7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The "Cross" will do no one any good unless one does the LORD GOD's will.

The story about Jesus' blood and guts at the "Cross" has served as a violent example for parents on how to treat their sons, but I agree with most human beings that it's more silly than serious.

However, can one know what the future WILL of the LORD GOD will DEMAND? What was the LORD GOD's WILL in the past?

1 Sam. 15:1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

15:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, INFANT AND SUCKLING, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

The LORD GOD demanded that His followers utterly destroy infants. Knowing the future, the LORD GOD foresaw the bone, brain and excrement of infants cut with knives that got duller and duller so that his followers had to smash the babies' heads onto stone walls, thinking there would be no negative effect of that blood on His followers.

But go ahead: Why DON'T Jews believe in Jesus?

» HeadZenCards - Jesi As Troll

In response to Troll? posted by HeadZenCards:

No one Christian believes in the same Jesus that another believes in. Or so it seems here at Suite 101.

Jews appear to have foreseen the future rise of Jesuses in Ezekiel. They believe that the LORD GOD (or "G" as they call Him) gave the following example for future Jews to realize that the multitude of Jesi were deceived by "G".

Ezekiel 14:1 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

14:2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;

14:5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from ME, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of HIM concerning ME; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

14:8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD.

14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I THE LORD HAVE DECEIVED THAT PROPHET, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

Later, the LORD GOD certainly did deceive and destroy each and every Jesus there ever was or will be. This is why Jews do not believe in the Catholic Jesus, the Protestant Jesus, the Troll's Jesus: All of the Jesuses.

Dispensational Christians believe they are the "new Jews" but the "old Jews" think they will go the way of "new Coke".

» GodChsr - Dispensationalism

In response to Dispensationalism posted by pink101:

I am a fundamental Christian but by you saying that dispensationalism is tied to being a fundamental Christian is like saying that a car is tied to Gasoline... It's not. It's necessary to use fuel but gasoline is not the only type. Granted no comparison is never as good in actuality but for the sake of an idea... yeah.

My main contention is that dispensationalists believe that those who came before Jesus where saved because of a Lamb sacrifice.
I entirely call that BS.

imagine (and it's a likely scenario for that time) A poor man lives in the desert and his family is far from the cities. They don't have a spotless lamb and can't afford to travel a 2 or 3 day trip to make a sacrifice... he dies... and what? goes to hell???

Surely not. This is not the Gospel messag that Christ gives us. In fact it's opposite. Christ is trying to show us that HE has been the promise... Everything THEY did was an emulation to what Christ did. Just like praying at an alter is the SAME emulation. (FYI: An alter is where they sacrificed animals in the OT and our praying at an alter is an emulation of Christ's death on the cross. We are sacrificng ourselves though... though not for propiciation)

See, only CHRIST is salvation... for now and for ever was. Not... salvation begna 2000 years ago on the cross. It was ALWAYS available... God knew it all from the beginning.

In response to Dispensationalism posted by GodChsr:
.
It seems to me that God made atonement available for all men at all times NOT by the act of sacrificing a lamb or kneeling down and praying but by the heart of a repentant person who recognizes their sin and need for God.
.
I think you've got it half right; but, by the same token, that you have it half wrong.
.
Your statement depends on the acceptance of the priestly condemnation that you are a sinful person who has need of forgiveness. The assumption in your claim is that it is God who condemns you. And, that is the implication of Scripture, I have to admit.
.
However, what truly keeps you from an at-one-ment with God is the condemnation--not the sin. God NEVER turns [His] back on [His] creation; except, according to the priesthood.
.
Have you taken the time to read Dostoyevsky's The Grand Inquisitor? It is probably the very best explanation of who Jesus was and is that has ever been written. And, it is an eye opener.
.
The idea of dispensation is, by the way, one of the Fundamentals. It says that God relates with humanity in different ways at different times, that is, the ages of civilization come into play. That is--in part--why, I think, people like Ollie call the Bible as though it were fiction.

I was hoping one of you who claim Dispensationalism would have the guts to stand and 'give the reason for your what you believe'
But you leave me helplessly with a group of pseudo-seekers???
Get real, you're all fake! What... can none of you stand to reason with a mere 25 yr old who has much less time in scripture than most of you???
I doubt my need to learn but who can refute the first post I made??? WHO? Show me... if you claim that God ordained a dispensational way of being in the word, then prove it. The burden of proof is in the hands of those who's turn it is to 'rebutt'...
If no one stands then we must all be accepting that Dispensationalism is a lie.
