YEP...I've lived through a few mothers' daze in my time. ABC Me own poor mum? I was going to spoil her rotten after she finally decided to retire from being an overworked underpaid cleaner for several rich people. I got her Age Pension claim in but she died before the first appointment another lifetime ago. (Actually died before she finished wrapping all the Xmas presents) Went in to advise of her death etc: "So, you want to cancel the appointment then?" Twas MANY years before I found out she (estate) should have been entitled to a few pension cheques worth.

Too little too late for my mum. And I think there's a lesson in that for all of us.
