I don't agree on that.

I believe that rudeness is much more evident today than it was fifty years ago. Maybe it is tied in to the disappearance of community and the growth of urban society. People in rural society interact more kindly with each other. It probably is related to the sense of knowing people and their families. But, that's a guess.
