- Patience & Prayer
I'm out of town in Missouri for a pastor's conference and I don't have consistent Internet access. Hence, my absence of late in these forums. It'll probably be sporadic for me the next couple days.
MORE IMPORTANTLY...a grave tragedy has hit a family that's close to my wife's sister. A fire destroyed the home of this family, killed the husband, and horribly burned his 2-year old boy. The mother and other kids escaped with minor injuries. This is a horrific situation, in that the child has over 65% of his body scorched with third degree burns.
PLEASE pray for this family, esp this precious boy. His name is Ethan.
I'll probably be heading out to see the family and my in-laws on my way back from this conference. I hope to visit with the mother and the boy.
Thank you.

Instead of asking that we pray to a God who has failed in his duty to watch over Ethan, why not tell those with extra financial resources how to help upgrade his care or pay some of his families expenses?
I have a hunch that there is someone here who has just come into some money and would like to donate resources to help.
Jesus did not tell me that; it's just good old fashioned common sense to know that human beings are always there to help in a crisis.
