It is not by chance that we use the word, culture, to describe society.

The Bible speaks of seeds falling on different kinds of ground. If the soil is deep and rich in nutrients with a good mixture of sunshine and water--those things that are favorable to growth, the result is a plant that has a strong possibility of growing to its fullest potential. When little children are given an opportunity to be planted in deep soil that is filled with nutrients and where they are well cultivated by teachers who expose them to the light that gives them energy, they generally have a great advantage over others less fortunate.

I'm sure your grandmother grew up in an environment that encouraged her to be whatever it was that she was. It's a wonderful life!
